Schedule for 2012
Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia November if we can get 18-20 travelers committed by April 2012 In Hanoi we will stay in the Old Quarter where we can walk or better use rickshaws to experience this 1,000 year old world capital, its art, silk, & hard working people. We will boat in the breathtaking Halong Bay before going to Luang Prabang to experience its Buddhist culture. The daily giving and receiving of alms is an experience you will keep forever. We will step back in time when we visit villages that are tucked into the thick vegetation along the Mekong River that are accessible by boat. Then will wrap-up the trip with the awesome structures in the Angkor complex while we lodge in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Not only will we visit Angkor Wat, but Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm. We will spend a day in the countryside to photograph and experience the farms, villages, and lifestyles of about 80% of Cambodia’s population.
